Miro's Comments: There's no such thing as perfect, but this was a great
pie at a good price, served hot. Perhaps my favorite of all the delivered
pies we've ordered thus far!

Elizabeth's Comments: It tastes like a pizza. Nothing awful. Nothing
spectacular. Just a solid pizza at a solid price.

$12.99 got us a large pizza, 10 wings, and a liter of soda! And as a side note, Miro says I have the
better palate.

Miro's Comments: We violated our cheese pizza rule to our own detriment.
It's not that it's not a very attractive pizza … maybe it's just to precious
looking for me to want to dig in

to eat it.

Miro's Comments: It wasn't super hot by the time I got to it, but that had
more to do with the pit stop I had to make to soak my shirt after a cherry
tomato geysered out at me when I cut into it too agressively.

Miro's Comments: It's hard to judge this one against the pizzas that we

but I wanted more flavor in it. That said, the chewy crispy balance was very
good.

seeking salt and there was none to be found - on the pie or on the

Miro's Comments: I'm trying not to factor my tomato incident into my
opinion. But I think it's creeping into my feelings regardless. To be clear,
I blame no one but myself, I understand and ignored basic tomato physics and
got punished for it.
|
||
Elizabeth's Comments: The waiter was on the ball, but super weird. The fries and carppacio were yummy too -
though carppacio also needed salt.

Elizabeth's Comments: For thin crust you expect a crisp that isn't there. That
said, I don't really like crispiness, but I don't like overly chewy either.
This is just a little bit too tough. You need to pull it out of your mouth
rather aggressively and the flavor is rather bland.

Miro's Comments: Was, is and will continue to be my favorite choice for a
chain-based pizza. When I need to know there's a familiar pizza around, it's
Papa Gino's. Apparently that means I can never leave New England, but at
least they have them in the city now.
|
||
Elizabeth's Comments: We probably should have done this earlier; it gives a
good baseline to our readers.
