Miro's Comments: Am I hungry? I usually don't like overly round pies, but this looks like it was baked in a pan instead of just stamped out of a mold. I can live with that.
Elizabeth's Comments: Small and that fake looking round, but it looks like it has a nice cheese coating.

Elizabeth's Comments: Somehow there is too much of it and it's greasy and dry all at the same time. I feel like I'm eating wet paper towels.

Miro's Comments: Whoa. What a diappointment, I expected crispy and got soggy all the way through. Even the ends that looked so toasted had virtually no bite. Did it steam in the box?
Elizabeth's Comments: Can't hold up it's cheese

Miro's Comments: It reminds me of the greek pizzeria's of my youth. It would be a good greasy pizza if it weren't for a total and complete crust fail.
Elizabeth's Comments: Not the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth, but a pretty lousy pizza.

Miro's Comments: I hear their wraps are great.
Elizabeth's Comments: I think Miro was a little too hungry but I'm happy to see they used non-jarred olives on our other half.

Miro's Comments: The corn meal dusting underneath makes it especially crunchy and crispy. Again, I think I like it, but it's a very different style than what I'm used to.
Elizabeth's Comments: Love the crunchy/chewy texture but there is just way to much flour & cornmeal all over it

Miro's Comments: A tough call. I think it's a well executed pizza in a different style than I'm used to. I don't care for the unfamilar style, but I can appreciate the good preparation.
Elizabeth's Comments: I'm really sad about giving it a 3.25.

Miro's Comments: If I didn't know better I would think we were eating in my old basement rec room. Don't get me wrong, that's a positive for this landmark in East Boston.
Elizabeth's Comments: I think this place was just too overhyped.  I expected the best pizza of my life and what I got instead was a decent pizza ruined by an over dusting of flour.

Miro's Comments: My usual problem with overly roundness is present, and while there are blackened bits of cheese, they look kinda painted on.
Elizabeth's Comments: It looks crispy, cheesy and with a few air bubbles scattered in.

Miro's Comments: I know. It's silly, but growing up, Papa Gino's was pizza. Those kind of sense memories are hard to shake.
Elizabeth's Comments: Like cardboard with a hint of basil. I'd probably give it a 3, but there is the pleasant memory of elementary school birthday parties.

Miro's Comments: I'd like a little more and a touch more flavor, it's like the franchise pie that it is.
Elizabeth's Comments: Nice covering, but it gets kinda dry and clumpy in your mouth.

Miro's Comments: Again, it might be the sense memory talking, but this is the slightly peppery sauce of my youth.
Elizabeth's Comments: Tomatoey, spicy and just the right amount.
Crust

Miro's Comments: The crispiness comes mostly from the cornmeal dusting. But I like the balance and I get a sense of flavor.
Elizabeth's Comments: For thin crust you expect a crisp that isn't there. That said, I don't really like crispiness, but I don't like overly chewy either. This is just a little bit too tough. You need to pull it out of your mouth rather aggressively and the flavor is rather bland.

Miro's Comments: It's not a gourmet pie, but to me it's pizza.

Miro's Comments: Was, is and will continue to be my favorite choice for a chain-based pizza. When I need to know there's a familiar pizza around, it's Papa Gino's. Apparently that means I can never leave New England, but at least they have them in the city now.
Elizabeth's Comments: We probably should have done this earlier; it gives a good baseline to our readers.
