Miro's Comments: Floppy. Is it weird that the word that comes to my mind is floppy.

Elizabeth's Comments:
Very cheesy! But, also very greasy a little worried about it slipping off.

Miro's Comments: I smell herbs. Real live herbs. I forgot what they smell like on delivery pizza. Not sure Elizabeth is smelling them. She just went in for like her 5th smell.

Elizabeth's Comments:
Cheese & faint hints of spice - not at all as greasy smelling as it looks

Not bad for delivery. Pretty bad for a place 2 blocks from us

Elizabeth's Comments:
Warm, but disappointing for coming from SO CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE!

Miro's Comments:
A little thin on the cheese and not much flavor

Elizabeth's Comments:
I'm torn. There is a lot of it, but, it's very greasy and it's got a crumbly texture to it.

Miro's Comments:
That's where those herbs were hiding. I don't care if it's from a can or not.
I like it

Elizabeth's Comments:
Oregano! I taste an actual spice I can name! It's not generic "spice." That said, the tomato part is rather thin, as is the coating of sauce in general.

Crust

Miro's Comments:
It was pretty floppy in the middle, but that's fine. The edges are doughy
where I was yearning for some snap. If a pie is going to be this doughy, the
crust better have really well developed flavor.

Elizabeth's Comments:
Wimpy. This pizza does not stand up on it's own, the grease means you need to fold over the slice to eat it but it has a nice, clean, fresh taste to it that is different than the frozen crusts we usually get.

Miro's Comments:
Benefits from a flavorful sauce and good size, but suffers from the lack of
flavor and volume on the cheese. I think a touch longer in the oven would be
more to my taste.

Elizabeth's Comments:
Really good for being really greasy. I wish the cheese was smoother and there was a bit more sauce.

Miro's Comments:
This is one of those pizzas where price makes all the difference. At a buck
less it would be a steal.

Elizabeth's Comments:
If this place is open late, it's probably dangerous to know it exists for
those walks home from ... ummmm ... studying when all you want is a greasy slice of pizza.

The
cheese goes a little too far to the edge, but it looks perfectly cooked.

Elizabeth's
Comments:
Cheesy!
Flavorful! But it looses points for looking like one of those microwave
pizzas without a discernible crust

really had to get my nose up in there to get just a faint hint of parmesan.

Miro's
Comments:
Not
much flavor to the cheese, not even that parm I detected by smell, but at
least appropriately salty.

Elizabeth's
Comments:
There's
a lot of it, but it's kinda tough and chewy, and it has a little bit of an
overpowering stinkyfeet smell.

Miro's

Having
trouble locating much sauce. The bit that I find is unremarkable

Elizabeth's
Comments:
I like
that it's not sweet, but I don't like that it has a non-descript and
non-necessarily pleasant flavor.

Crust

Miro's
Comments:
Not my
favorite style of crust. Much more chewy than crispy with the cornmeal
dusting underneath. For what it is, it's good. But I prefer more crisp to
chew

Elizabeth's
Comments:
Thicker
than it appears and a nice chew. Also, a nice cornmeal crunch that is a nice
surprise, but it has very limited actual crust edges.

Miro's
Comments:

Unremarkable, but solid. I can and have served this at parties where I just
needed volume of decent pizza. The box tells me that if I get 5 pies, they
are only $7 each.

Elizabeth's
Comments:
The
parm in the cheese overpowers the non-descript flavors in the sauce and I
don't really care for the entire blend.

We
ordered this pizza in bulk for parties before, but we held off from ordering
it for dinner because my aversion to the sauce/cheese. That might have
tainted my review. I apologize for being a bad researcher.

Looks handmade and well toasted, but there is a greasy layer of red oil, I'm
worried there won't be enough cheese.

Elizabeth's

Fairly cheesy and homeamde looking. A bit on the greasey side in that

Mostly a strong oil and grease flavor. Not bad, but not exactly gourmet
either.

Elizabeth's
Comments:

SO. MUCH. GREASE. There is a lot of cheese, which I like, but it does that
seperating thing that I hate and the grease flavor overpowers the cheese
flavor.

Miro's
Comments:

The sauce was fine. I have nothing more to say.

Elizabeth's
Comments:

When I could acutally find the sauce it was quite flavorful and strong,
however the sauce needs to be increased or the greese needs to decreased for the balance to work out.

Crust

Miro's
Comments:

While lacking in flavor, the texture of the crust is excellent. Chewy
throughout with a crisp on the edges.

Elizabeth's

This dough is so fresh tasting which doesn't happen
very often. It loses a point for being overly chewey. I really have to tug at
it.

Practically the Mendoza line of delivery pizzas. Good in basically every
category, though exceptional in none. That said, if
I lived near this place, I'd be happy to make it my standby pizzeria. I bet
they are exceptionally consistent. Every neighborhood should have a place
like this.

Elizabeth's
Comments:

If it wasn't so greasy I think this pizza would be awesome. As it stands
though, I have pretty nasty heartburn after one slice.
